Maine’s Department Of Marine Resources is the regulatory agency for saltwater fisheries and resources.

The Maine Department of Inland Fisheries & Wildlife web site contains useful information about fresh water fisheries and hunting.

Along Maine’s mid-coast region, the Bureau of Parks & Land manage several sites which provide public access to coastal waters and quality striper fishing.

Parking is readily available, although a small fee is charged at some locations.
