The mid-coast setting represents some of the finest Maine has to offer, miles of pristine coastline, beaches, bays, flats and tidal runs - all within 60 miles of Portland. We want to recognize this world-class striper fishery and it’s value as a recreational resource.
The fall run represents some of the best fishing of the year. During the month of September and into early October stripers are aggressively feeding in preparation for their coming migration. It’s the time we “locals” expect to catch that monster fish, a real “Bubba” or better yet, “Bubba’s Bubba”.
